Obituary: Mary Ellen Gangwer, 96

Mary Ellen Gangwer died at the age of 96 on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at home. She was born December 28, 1926, in Southbend, Ind., the daughter of Chester and Hattie Augustine. She married Ellsworth Clayton Gangwer on June 25, 1946, in Muskegon.

Mary Ellen is survived by one brother, one sister, two sons, two daughters, seven grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers, and one sister.

Cremation has taken place and per her wishes there will be no memorial.
