79th District Court arraignments, posted Sept. 3, 2023

LUDINGTON — The following were recently arraigned in Mason County’s 79th District Court:
Felonies
Hicks
-Jordan Blakely Hicks, 26; larceny from a building, two counts of breaking and entering, malicious destruction of utility property, and unlawfully driving away a motor vehicle; arrested Nov. 18, 2022 by Michigan State Police; arraigned Aug. 30; probable cause hearing: Sept. 13; bond denied. Hicks is currently serving a prison sentence for breaking and entering a building with intent, charges from Manistee County. He was sentenced on Aug. 7, 2023 to a minimum of one year, 11 months to a maximum of 10 years. He is currently at at Charles Egeler Reception and Guidance Center.
Yeager
-Eric Nelson Yeager, 39; tampering with an electronic monitoring device; arrested June 23 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned Aug. 29; probable cause hearing: Sept. 13; bond: $5,000 personal recognizance.
Bentley
-Christopher Sean Bentley, 49; possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine/ecstasy); arrested May 7 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned Aug. 29; probable cause hearing: Sept. 6; bond: $5,000 personal recognizance.
Finley
-Abraham Necoli-Nelson Finley, 26; possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine/ecstasy); arrested Aug. 26 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned Aug. 27; probable cause hearing: Sept. 6; bond: $250/10 percent.
Misdemeanors
-Jarrod R. Stokes, 43; domestic violence; arrested July 31 by Michigan State Police; arraigned Aug. 28; pretrial: Sept. 11; bail: $250/10 percent.
-Amy Lynn Churchill, 35; second-degree retail fraud; arrested June 23 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned Aug. 24; pretrial: Sept. 18; bail: $500 personal recognizance.
-Dylan Duayne Drake, 27; operating an ORV while license suspended; arrested Aug. 5 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned Aug. 24; pretrial: Sept. 11; bail: personal recognizance.
-Michael Anthony Garcia, 53; driving while license suspended; arrested July 29 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned Aug. 24; pretrial: Sept. 18; bail: personal recognizance.
-Steven Craig Holtrust, 66; driving while license suspended; arrested Aug. 3 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned Aug. 24; pretrial: TBD; bail: personal recognizance.
-Melissa Marie Inman, 38; driving while license suspended; arrested July 21 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned Aug. 24; pretrial: Sept. 11; bail: personal recognizance.
