Military flags stolen from veterans memorial

AMBER TOWNSHIP — Five of the six US military and POW flags located at the Mason County Veterans Memorial located adjacent to Oak Grove Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Ludington on West US 10 were stolen, and the sidewalk was damaged, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

The larceny and damaged property complaint was received by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office Monday, July 24, around 9 a.m.
