79th District Court arraignments, posted July 10, 2023

LUDINGTON — The following were recently arraigned in Mason County’s 79th District Court:
Felonies
Wass
-Chad Alan Wass, 51; malicious destruction of personal property between $1,000-$20,000, assault with a dangerous weapon (felonious assault), reckless use of a firearm, and possession of a firearm while under the influence; arrested May 13 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned June 29; probable cause hearing: July 12; bail: $2,500/10 percent.
Duke
-Kenneth Roth Duke, 33; two counts of assault/resisting/obstructing a police officer and fourth-degree child abuse; arrested July 3 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned July 3; probable cause hearing: July 19; bail: $5,000 personal recognizance.
Misdemeanors
-Kaylyn Marie Mazeika, 20; operating a vehicle while intoxicated and underage operating under the influence of liquor with a blood alcohol level of .02-.07; arrested June 24 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned June 20; pretrial: July 24; bail: $250 cash.
-Michael Anthony Molina, 27; domestic violence; arrested June 29 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned June 30; pretrial: July 24; bail: $250/10 percent.
-Ashley Rose Forbes, 33; fourth-degree child abuse; arrested June 30 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned June 30; pretrial: July 24; bail: $250/10 percent.
-Anthony John Pianto, 25; operating a vehicle while intoxicated; arrested July 2 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned July 3; pretrial: July 25; bail: $250/10 percent.
-Howard Jay Heuker, 57; driving while license suspended; arrested June 10 by Michigan State Police; arraigned June 29; pretrial: July 24; bail: personal recognizance.
-William Harvey Gordon, Jr., 20; failure to maintain security (no vehicle insurance) and improper license plates; arrested June 17 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned June 29; pretrial: July 10; bail: personal recognizance.
-Kevin Neil Schutter, 54; open burning of solid waste; arrested June 17 by Department of Natural Resources; arraigned June 29; pleaded guilty.
