The following recent death information has been reported to MCP:
- Frank E. Lusk, 86, of Scottville, died on Friday, June 30, 2023. Funeral arrangements are being cared for by Wyman Funeral & Cremation Services in Scottville.
- Michael Edward Ivinson, 35, of Ludington, formerly of Manistee, died on June 30, 2023. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Friday, July 7, 2023, at Lighthouse Baptist Church, in Ludington, with Pastor Brian Blount officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery with military honors conducted under the auspices of the Edwin H. Ewing American Legion Post 76 Honor Guard and the U.S. Air Force. Visitation will be held Thursday, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Beacon Cremation and Funeral Service, Pere Marquette Chapel, in Ludington.
- Katie Rose (Wheaton) Denton, 37, of Ludington, died on Friday, June 30, 2023. A funeral will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at Oak Grove Funeral Home of Ludington at noon. Visitation begins at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Arrangements were entrusted to Oak Grove Funeral Home of Ludington, www.OakGroveLudington.com.
- Steven Robert Darknell, 74, of Ludington, died on Saturday, July 1, 2023. Arrangements were entrusted to Oak Grove Funeral Home of Ludington, www.OakGoveLudington.com.
