Indiana man, teenage son injured in motorcycle crash

HAMLIN TOWNSHIP — A 45-year-old Paris Crossing, Indiana man and his 17-year-old son were injured after a vehicle pulled off Fisher Road where it intersects with Jebavy Drive and into the path of their motorcycle causing a collision Saturday, June 17, shortly before 5 p.m., said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole. 

They were transported by Life EMS to Corewell Hospital in Ludington for non-life-threatening injuries, said Sheriff Cole.

Saturday, June 17, 2023:

  • 1:55 a.m., a 58-year-old Pierson, Michigan woman was arrested for domestic violence following a 911 call reporting an active fight, 100 block of North Reinberg Street, City of Scottville.
  • 7:02 p.m., damaged property, 100 block of East State Street, City of Scottville. The complainant reported that someone had spray painted a restroom wall.
  • 8:20 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Jebavy Drive north of Angling Road, Hamlin Township.

Sunday, June 18, 2023:

  • 10:04 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 south of Pere Marquette Highway, Pere Marquette Township.
