Ludington man arrested on six warrants

LUDINGTON — A 35-year-old Ludington man was arrested by Ludington police on six outstanding warrants Friday, May 26, ​around 2 p.m. at the intersection of ​Washington Avenue and Fourth Street, according to Cpt. Steven Wietrzykowski.

​Five of the warrants were issued by Mason County’s 79th District Court for failing to appear on various charges, including possession of marijuana, a traffic-related charge, assault and battery, and having an unlawful blood alcohol content back when he was under the age of 21. One warrant was issued by Montcalm County’s 8th Circuit Court for contempt of court.

He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.

Saturday, May 27, 2023:

• ​1:41 a.m., a 36-year-old Scottville man was arrested for disorderly conduct, ​200 block of East Ludington Ave​​nue, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
• ​2:17 a.m., ​a 24-year-old Free Soil man was arrested for disorderly conduct, 300 block of West Ludington Ave​nue City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
• ​11:16 p.m., a 51-year-old Zeeland man was arrested for domestic assault, ​1200 block of North Lakeshore Drive, City of Ludington​. The victims, a 47-year-old Zeeland woman and a 48-year-old Ludington woman, were not injured. The suspect was lodged in the Mason County Jail.

Sunday, May 28, 2023:

• ​11:07 a.m., a 25-year-old Ludington woman was arrested for domestic assault, 300 block of East Melendy Street​, City of Ludington. The victim, a 35-year-old Ludington man, sustained some minor cuts on his face and behind his right ear. The suspect was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
• ​3:55 p.m., ​a 47-year-old Ludington man was arrested for domestic assault, 100 block of East Second Street​, City of Ludington.The victim, a 17-year-old Ludington male, was not injured. The suspect sustained a cut to his lip. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.

Monday, May 29, 2023:

• ​4:23 p.m., a 34-year-old Ludington man was arrested for disorderly conduct, Stearns Beach​, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
