LUDINGTON — The following were recently arraigned in Mason County’s 79th District Court:
Felonies
Pereira
-Joseph Fredrick Pereira, 56; two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct (victim under age 13); arrested March 1, 2020 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned May 23; probable cause hearing: May 31; bail: $50,000 cash.
Rocha
-Frank Garza Rocha, 23; carrying a concealed weapon and operating a vehicle with no license/multiple licenses; arrested May 19 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned May 21; probable cause hearing: May 31; bail: $5,000 personal recognizance.
Mac
-Julie Marie Mac, 40; unlawful driving away of a motor vehicle (auto theft); arrested May 1 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned May 19; probable cause hearing: May 31; bail: $250/10 percent.
Misdemeanors
-Bruce James Burton, 44; domestic violence; arrested Sept. 10, 2022 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned May 18; pretrial: June 5; bail: $250 cash.
-Peter Joseph Miller, 43; breaking and entering; arrested April 27 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned May 18; pretrial: June 5; bail: $100 cash.
-Arthur Michael Ayala, 38; abandon/cruelty to animals; arrested April 27 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned May 18; pretrial: June 5; bail: $2,500 personal recognizance.
-Laura Lynn Edgcombe, 48; trespassing; arrested May 13 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned May 18; pleaded guilty.
-Travis Matthew McClellan, 43; operating a vehicle while intoxicated; arrested May 13 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned May 18; pretrial: June 26; bail: $500 cash.
-Jesse Jacob Hill, 33; assault and battery; arrested April 28 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned May 23; pretrial: June 12; bail: $2,500/10 percent.
-Isabel Inez Grubius, 18; assault and battery; arrested May 11 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned May 19; pretrial: June 5; bail: $250/10 percent.
-Regina Marie Rivard, 28; domestic violence; arrested May 17 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned May 18; pretrial: July 10; bail: $2,500 personal recognizance.
-Chrystal Marie Straub, 34; stray dog and having an unlicensed dog; arrested May 5 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned May 18; pretrial: June 5; bail: personal recognizance.
-Jennifer Amy Smith, 46; operating without security (no vehicle insurance); arrested April 26 by Michigan State Police; arraigned May 18; pretrial: June 5; bail: personal recognizance.
-Matthew Edward Lunde, 44; operating without security (no vehicle insurance); arrested April 26 by Michigan State Police; arraigned May 18; pretrial: June 5; bail: personal recognizance.
-Rebecca Sage Weyer, 29; operating without security (no vehicle insurance); arrested May 7 by Michigan State Police; arraigned May 18; pretrial: June 5; bail: personal recognizance.
