79th District Court arraignments, posted May 13, 2023

LUDINGTON — The following were recently arraigned in Mason County’s 79th District Court:
Felonies
King
-Malcolm Andrew King, 34; third offense domestic violence and fourth offense habitual offender; arrested Oct. 4, 2022 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned May 9; probable cause hearing: May 24; bail: $250/10 percent.
Gale
-Travis Michael Gale, 30; two counts of breaking and entering a building, larceny in a building and fourth offense habitual offender; arrested April 29 by Michigan State Police; arraigned May 3; probable cause hearing: May 17; bail: $50,000 cash.
Tweedale
-Stephanie Lydia Ann Tweedale, 29; first degree retail fraud, second offense driving while license suspended and second offense habitual offender; arrested May 2 by Michigan State Police; arraigned May 3; probable cause hearing: May 17; bail: $350/10 percent.
Berridge
-Sammara May Berridge, 20; malicious destruction of personal property $1,000-$20,000 and malicious destruction of a building $200-$1,000; arrested May 4 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned May 5; probable cause hearing: May 17; bail: $250/10 percent.
Pider
-Cristy Ann Pider, 40; possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine/ecstasy), larceny less than $200, and fourth offense habitual offender; arrested May 6 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned May 8; probable cause hearing: May 24; bail: $25,000 cash.
Ayers
-Christopher Tyler Ayers, 25; interfering with an electronic communications device and domestic violence; arrested May 9 by Michigan State Police; arraigned May 10; probable cause hearing: May 24; bail: $2,500/10 percent.
Misdemeanors
-Vernon James Julian, Jr., 85; driving while license expired, improper license plates and operating without security (no vehicle insurance); arrested April 10 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned May 4; pretrial: May 22; bail: personal recognizance.
-Dakota Allen Hernandez, 19; third degree retail fraud; arrested Feb. 28 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned May 5; pretrial: May 22; bail: $2,500 personal recognizance.
-Miranda Gloria Jean Cloutier, 44; truancy; arrested Sept. 8, 2022 by Scottville Police Department; arraigned May 4; pretrial: May 22; bail: personal recognizance.
-Crystal Lynn Appel, 46; third degree retail fraud; arrested April 28 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned May 4; pretrial: May 22; bail: $500 cash.
-Benjamin Michael Bentz, 42; disorderly person disturbing the peace; arrested April 28 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned May 4; pretrial: May 24; bail: $500 cash.
-Kylie Jane Newman, 22; domestic violence; arrested April 23 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned May 10; pretrial: May 22; bail: $2,500 personal recognizance.
