Man arrested for 3rd-offense OWI, open intoxicants after allegedly harassing Culver’s customers

PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP —A 49-year-old Gladwin, Michigan man was arrested for third-offense operating while intoxicated and open intoxicants following a 911 call reporting a male subject harassing customers at Culver’s Restaurant on West US 10 Wednesday, April 19, shortly after 6:30 p.m., according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

“The subject was seen backing his vehicle in the parking lot when a Mason County sheriff’s deputy arrived on scene,” said Sheriff Cole.

Other activity of the Mason County Sheriff’s Office Wednesday, April 19, 2023 includes:

  • 7:45 a.m., car/seer crash, no injury, Quarterline Road north of Koenig Road, Grant Township.
  • 2:18 p.m., two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 east of Pere Marquette Highway, Pere Marquette Township.
