51st Circuit Court sentencings, posted April 13, 2023

LUDINGTON — The following were recently sentenced in Mason County’s 51st Circuit Court by Judge Susan K. Sniegowski:

Gajewski

– Travis John Gajewsi, 30, of Grant Township, pleaded guilty Feb. 7, 2023 to delivery/manufacture of methamphetamine and felony firearm and was sentenced April 11, 2023 to 37 months to 20 years in prison with credit for 340 days served in jail and a concurrent term of two years in prison and $266 in fines and costs. One count of possession of a loaded firearm in a vehicle was dismissed.

Davis

– Cody Cornelius Davis, 29, pleaded “no contest” Jan. 31, 2023 to second-degree criminal sexual conduct (CSC) and was sentenced April 11, 2023 to one year in jail with credit for five days served; five years probation; and $658 in fines and costs.

Lopez

– Loreto Ulesis Lopez, 24, pleaded guilty Feb. 27, 2023 to fourth-degree arson and received a delayed sentence April 11, 2023 of two days in jail with credit for two days served; 11 months probation; and $1,808 in fines, costs and restitution. If he successfully completes probation, March 11, 2024, the conviction will be reduced to fifth-degree arson. 

Updyke

– Steven Jay Updyke, 39, pleaded guilty Jan. 31, 2023 to methamphetamine/ecstasy possession and was sentenced April 11, 2023 to one year in jail with credit for 139 days served and $598 in fines and costs.
