The following is weekend activity of the Mason County Sheriff’s Office:

Friday, April 7, 2023:

• 1:04 p.m., ​credit card fraud, 10000 block of North Quarterline Road, Grant Township. The complainant reported being notified by their a identity security company of two suspicious transactions on a credit card to a car rental company in Rome, Italy.
• 8 p.m., damaged property, 1900 block of West Sugar Grove Road, Victory Township. The complainant reported damage to a door, photos and an Xbox controller. The case is pending.
• 9:18 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Walhalla Road north of Forest Trail Road #6504, Branch Township.

Saturday, April 8, 2023:

• 11:55 a.m., two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 and Jebavy Drive, Pere Marquette Township.
• 4:35 p.m., a 69-year-old Brethren man was arrested on an outstanding Manistee Police Department contempt of court warrant and cited for driving while license suspended (DWLS) following a traffic stop, US 31 and Freeman Road, Free Soil Township.
• 8:16 p.m., a 43-year-old Fountain man was arrested on four Mason County failure to appear warrants and one warrant for failure to pay a booking fee, ​Barton Street, Pere Marquette Township.
• 10:44 p.m., a 37-year-old Free Soil man was arrested for operating while intoxicated following a one-vehicle crash, no injuries occurred, Custer Road south of Dewey Road, Sherman Township.

Sunday, April 9, 2023:

• 1:45 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 south of Beyer Road, Sherman Township.
• 9:29 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Stiles Road south of Townline Road, Victory Township.
