The following is police activity in Mason County Monday, March 20, 2023:

  • 7:08 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), two-vehicle crash, no injury, Pere Marquette Highway north of Hawley Road, Summit Township.
  • 7:34 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Pere Marquette Highway north of Deren Road, Summit Township.
  • 1:14 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 36-year-old Ludington woman was arrested on an outstanding Friend of the Court warrant when officers responded to assist a Ludington man with picking up his children, 400 block of South Harrison Street, City of Ludington. Bond was posted, and the woman was not lodged in jail.
  • 6:59 p.m., (LPD), a 26-year-old Ludington man was arrested on an outstanding warrant issued by Mason County’s 79th District Court for failure to appear, 700 block of Foster Street, City of Ludington.
  • 8:55 p.m., (LPD), a 44-year-old Wellston man was arrested for resisting and obstructing police, disorderly person and on an outstanding warrant issued in Lake County for retail fraud, 300 block of West Ludington Avenue, City of Ludington.
  • 9:44 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 10 east of Tuttle Road, Custer Township.
