79th District Court arraignments, posted March 12, 2023

LUDINGTON — The following were recently arraigned in Mason County’s 79th District Court:
Felonies
Benyo
-Alys Jean Benyo, 35, possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine/ecstasy); arrested Dec. 17, 2022 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned March 8; probable cause hearing: March 22; bail: $10,000 cash.
Ramsey
-Cara Ann Ramsey, 29, possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine/ecstasy) and failure to maintain security (no vehicle insurance); arrested Nov. 1, 2022 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned March 3; probable cause hearing: March 15; bail: $5,000 personal recognizance.
McKinley
-Jon Howard McKinley, 33, interfering with an electronic communications device, domestic violence, and fourth offense habitual offender; arrested Feb. 13 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned March 2; probable cause hearing: March 15; bail: $500/10 percent.
Sanford
-Nelson Edward Sanford, 24, possession of a controlled substance (narcotic/cocaine0, reckless driving, and operating a vehicle while intoxicated or under influence of controlled substance; arrested March 4 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned March 5; probable cause hearing: March 15; bail: $250/10 percent.
Misdemeanors
-Brandon Raymond Kelley, 23; assault and battery; arrested March 5 by Michigan State Police; arraigned March 8; pretrial: March 27; bail: $5,000 personal recognizance.
-Abigail Bridget Bousho, 21; operating a vehicle while intoxicated; arrested Feb. 25 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned March 2; pretrial: April 10; bail: $500 cash.
-Melvin Todd Maier, 58; driving while license suspended; arrested Feb. 10 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned March 2; pretrial: March 13; bail: $500 personal recognizance.
-Gary Leonard McCallum, 75; driving while license suspended and expired registration/no plate; arrested Jan. 28 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned March 2; pretrial: March 13; bail: personal recognizance.
