LUDINGTON — The following were recently sentenced to jail or prison in Mason County. 

51st Circuit Court

Felonies

Newman

–  David Gene Newman, 49. Offense date, Aug. 1, 2019. Arrested by Mason County Sheriff’s Office. Count 1: Larceny of $1,000 or more but less than $20,000. Plea, no contest. Sentenced on Feb. 7, 2023 (delayed), eight days in jail with credit for eight days served; 11 months probation; fines/fees.

 

 

 

79th District Court

Misdemeanors

  • Autumn Lanne Jourden, 31. Offense date, Dec. 6, 2022. Arrested by Michigan State Police. Count 1: Operating a vehicle without a license on person. Sentenced on Feb. 1, 2023: 19 days in jail.
  • Darrell Ray Palmer III, 29. Offense date, Aug. 25, 2022. Arrested by Michigan State Police. Count 1: Retail fraud third degree. Sentenced on Feb. 1, 2023: 93 days in jail. 
  • Joel Elias Titsworth, 59. Offense date, Jan. 4, 2023. Arrested by Ludington Police Department. Count 1: Disorderly person – drunk. Sentenced on Feb. 1, 2023: 29 days in jail.
  • Melissa Ann Milanowski, 48. Offense date, Nov. 29, 2022. Arrested by Ludington Police Department. Count 1: Disorderly person disturbing the peace. Sentenced on Feb. 8, 2023: 8 days jail. 
  • Lori Margaret Snyder, 43. Offense date, April 2, 2021. Arrested by Ludington Police Department. Providing false information to a police officer. Dismissed. Allowing a person to drive in violation of vehicle code. Sentenced Feb. 8, 2023: four days in jail.
