LUDINGTON — The following were recently arraigned in Mason County’s 79th District Court:

Felonies

Desmarais

-Andrew Michael Desmarais, 35; stealing/retaining a financial transaction device, second degree retail fraud and fourth-offense habitual offender; arrested Jan. 24 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned Jan. 25; probable cause hearing: Feb. 1; bail: $10,000 cash.

Levine

-Tristan Roger Levine, 24; possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine/ecstasy) and second offense habitual offender; arrested Sept. 9, 2022 by Department of Natural Resources; arraigned Jan. 19; probable cause hearing: Feb. 1; bail: $5,000 personal recognizance. 

Bryant

-Jarrell Christopher Justin Bryant, 37; assault/resisting/obstructing a police officer, third-degree fleeing from police in a vehicle, third-offense domestic violence and fourth-offense habitual offender; arrested Jan. 24 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned Jan. 24; probable cause hearing: Feb. 1; bail: $500/10 percent.

Grant

-Michael Allen Grant, 50; two counts of assault/resisting/obstructing a police officer and disorderly drunk person; arrested Jan. 22; arraigned Jan. 23; probable cause hearing: Feb. 1; bail: $250/10 percent.

 

Misdemeanors

-Darrell Ray Palmer, III, 29; third degree retail fraud; arrested Aug. 25, 2022 by Michigan State Police; arraigned Jan. 25; pretrial: Feb. 1; bail: $5,000/10 percent.

-David Robert Southern, 44; larceny less than $200; arrested Nov. 4, 2022 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned Jan. 19; pretrial: Feb. 27; bail: $2,500 personal recognizance.

-Marcelina Victoria Shriver, 25; driving on an expired license and no proof of insurance; arrested Dec. 29 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned Jan. 19; pretrial: Jan. 30; bail: personal recognizance.

-Aaron Michael Murphy, 34; driving while license not valid; arrested Dec. 31 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned Jan. 19; pleaded guilty.

-Angela Mae Seymore, 36; four counts of truancy; arrested Sept. 23, 2022 by Scottville Police Department; arraigned Jan. 19; pretrial: Feb. 27; bail: personal recognizance.

-Crystal Ann Underwood, 18; disorderly drunk person; arrested Jan. 21 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned Jan. 23; pleaded guilty.

-Thomas Leroy Rees, 34; failure to maintain security (no vehicle insurance); arrested Jan. 1 by Michigan State Police; arraigned Jan. 19; plea and sentencing: Feb. 22; bail: personal recognizance.

-Shawn Ryan Boles, 41, failure to maintain security (no vehicle insurance); arrested Jan. 4 by Michigan State Police; arraigned Jan. 19; pretrial: Jan. 30; bail: personal recognizance.

-David Timothy Wingate, 22; failure to maintain security (no vehicle insurance); arrested Jan. 3 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned Jan. 19; pretrial: Jan. 30; bail: personal recognizance.

-Peggy Kay McGee, 42, driving while license suspended; arrested Jan. 2 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned Jan. 19; pretrial: Feb. 13; bail: personal recognizance.

-Matthew Dustin Case, 37; driving while license suspended; arrested Jan. 8 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned Jan. 19; pretrial: Feb. 27; bail: personal recognizance.

– Angela Mae Seymore, 36; truancy (four counts); arrested Sept. 23, 2022 by Scottville Police Department; arraigned Jan. 19, 2023; pre and sentencing, Feb. 27, 1:45 p.m.
