Brrrewfest takes place Saturday

LUDINGTON — The annual Pure Ludington BrrrewFest takes place on Saturday, Jan. 28. The event, organized by the Ludington & Scottville Area Chamber of Commerce, is a fundraiser for the Friends of the Ludington State Park, an organization that provides support for programs and activities at the state park not traditionally funded by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources which manages the park.

BrrrewFest will host 19 Michigan breweries showcasing their best brews, with a variety of beers, winer, ciders and meads to sample from 1 to 6 p.m. BrrrewFest tickets are $35 and only available online. Entry includes six drink tokens.

The event takes place at Legacy Plaza in downtown Ludington. In addition to Michigan drink sampling, festivities will feature a live DJ, eats from Lakeside Wiener Wagon and Cluck Bucket, and merchandise from Gordy’s Skate Shop and Red Door Gallery.
