Recent police activity in Mason County includes:

Thursday, Dec. 29, 2022:

• 7:08 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 68-year-old Pentwater woman was arrested for operating while under the influence of drugs, ​900 block of East Ludington Ave​nue, City of Ludington. She was lodged at the Mason County Jail.

Friday, Dec. 30, 2022:

• ​5:46 a.m., (LPD), ​a 36-year-old Ludington woman was arrested on two outstanding warrants, Madison and First​ streets, City of Ludington. One warrant was issued by the 51st Circuit Court for failure to appear, and the other warrant was issued by the 14th Circuit Court for probation violation. She was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
• 2:42 p.m., (Michigan State Police), a 34-year-old Scottville man was cited for a vehicle violation, Pere Marquette Highway near US 10, Pere Marquette Township.

Saturday, Dec. 31, 2022:

• 5:55 p.m., (MSP), a 39-year-old Dewitt, Michigan man was arrested for operating without insurance and for an outstanding warrant issued in Lansing, northbound US 31 near Pere Marquette Highway, Pere Marquette Township. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
• ​7:06 p.m.,  (LPD), a 34-year-old Union, Michigan man was cited for driving without a license, Filer and Madison ​streets, City of Ludington.
• 8:15 p.m., (LPD), a 40-year-old Scottville man was cited for operating without insurance, ​Ludington Avenue and Staffon ​Street, City of Ludington.
• ​10:01 p.m., (LPD), ​a 44-year-old Rockford woman was arrested for assault and battery, 200 block of South James Street​​, City of Ludington. She was lodged in the Mason County Jail. The victim, who is a 39-year-old Ludington man, was not injured.
• 11 p.m., (MSP), open intoxicants citation (suspect info unavailable), US 31 near mile marker 166, Pere Marquette Township.

Sunday, Jan. 1, 2023:

• 3:40 a.m., (LPD), a 66-year-old Ludington man was arrested for operating while intoxicated, ​Ludington Avenue and Jackson​ Road, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
• 6:21 p.m.,  (LPD), ​a 30-year-old Ludington woman was arrested in Kent County on three outstanding warrants issued by the 79th District Court for failure to appear on traffic-related charges. She was lodged in the Mason County Jail.

Monday, Jan. 2, 2023:

• 9:23 a.m.,  (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), alarm activation, Pere Marquette Township.
• 5:30 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Fisher Road west of Victory Corners Road, Victory Township.
• 5:49 p.m.,  (MCSO), gas drive-off, $3.13 in fuel stolen, Airport Shell, 5400 block of West US 10, Pere Marquette Township.
• 8:49 p.m., (MCSO), a 41-year-old Manistee woman was cited for driving while license suspended following a traffic stop, US 10 and Stiles Road, Amber Township.
• 11:18 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Hawley Road west of Gordon Road, Riverton Township.
