Ludington to honor Mayor Miller

LUDINGTON — Ludington Mayor Steve Miller will be honored with an open house on Monday, Dec. 19 following the regular meeting of the City Council, which begins at 6 p.m. Monday’s meeting will be Miller’s last regular council meeting as mayor. Miller was elected in 2018 and has served one four-year term. He was the 51st mayor of Ludington. On Jan. 1, 2023 Mark Barnett will become the 52nd mayor of Ludington and will serve during the city’s sesquicentennial year, 2023. Ludington’s first mayor was Charles Resseguie, elected in 1873.
