Ludington man allegedly in possession of 39 grams of meth arrested.

LUDINGTON — A 31-year-old Ludington man was arrested by Mason County sheriff’s deputies for possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine Thursday, Dec. 8, shortly before 8 p.m. following a traffic stop at the intersection of Staffon Street and Ludington Avenue. The man was reportedly found in possession of 39 grams of suspected meth, said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

The suspect, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was lodged in the Mason County Jail.

Other activity of the Mason County Sheriff’s Office Thursday, Dec. 8, 2022 includes:

  • 5:30 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 freeway north of Conrad Road, Amber Township.
  • 10:24 a.m., possible breaking and entering, 6600 block of North Dennis Road, Victory Township. The complainant reported a possible break-in to a home. It is unknown if any items are missing.
  • 2:24 p.m., retail fraud, Express Mart, 5500 block of West US 10, Pere Marquette Township. The business owner reported that an unknown male reportedly stole a phone card.
