PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — A catalytic converter was reportedly cut from a vehicle parked in the 100 block of South Jebavy Drive Thursday, Dec. 1, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole. The larceny was reported to the Mason County Sheriff’s Office at 12:46 a.m.

Other MCSO activity Thursday, Dec. 1, 2022 includes:

  • 12:37 a.m., a 40-year-old Manistee man was arrested on five outstanding misdemeanor warrants issued in Manistee County and by the Michigan State Police following a motorist call of a suspicious person in the area, US 31 and Hansen Road, Custer Township.
  • 8:23 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Conrad Road west of Amber Road, Amber Township.
  • 8:57 a.m., assault, 5900 block of West Sixth Street, Pere Marquette Township. A 42-year-old Ludington man was arrested for assault following a 911 call reporting an assault of an employee at the Silver Creek Home.
