Board of canvassers determines tie in MCE board seat

LUDINGTON — Mason County Eastern Board of Education write-in candidates Ryan Howe and Ben Norton tied for the full term position in last week’s General Election. Mason County Clerk Cheryl Kelly said the tie was determined by the Mason County Board of Canvassers. As a result, the two will meet at the Mason County Courthouse on Friday, Nov. 18 at 9 a.m. and draw from a hat, which will determine the winner.

The drawing is open to the public.
