AMBER TOWNSHIP — The first snow accumulation for the season occurred Saturday, Nov. 12, and overnight into Sunday, Nov. 13. This image was taken today, Sunday, over a field owned by Needlefast Evergreens (Nickelson’s Christmas Trees) on the southeast corner of Stiles and Hansen roads.

Parts of Mason County received least 4 inches or more of snow accumulation while areas west of Brye Road saw very little. The weather forecast is calling for cloudy skies the rest of the evening and Monday with more snow showers possible on Tuesday. Temperatures will remain below freezing tonight and then be in the upper 30s Monday and Tuesday.
