The following is activity of the Mason County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2022:

  • 12:44 a.m., a 28-year-old Baldwin man was arrested following a traffic stop on an outstanding Lake County failure to appear warrant, US 10 and Tyndall Road, Branch Township. The original charges are fourth-degree child abuse and fourth-degree fleeing and eluding.
  • 1:03 a.m., alarm activation, Branch Township.
  • 1:32 a.m., ​a report will be forwarded to the Mason County Prosecutor’s Office in reference to a possession of meth charge related to a 28-year-old Branch woman following police contact, Reek and Conrad roads, Custer Township.
  • 2:32 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 freeway south of Pere Marquette Highway exit, Summit Township.
  • 9:06 a.m., damaged property — broken window at a residence, 6600 block of North Dennis Road, Victory Township.
  • 9:18 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Custer Road north of Marrison Road, Eden Township.
  • 9:31 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Stiles Road south of Groth Road, Victory Township.
