Haunted Village is Saturday at White Pine Village

PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — Historic White Pine Village will hold its annual Haunted Village on Saturday, Oct. 22 from 2 to 5 p.m., which will also be the last day of the village’s 2022 season.

Visitors will be treated with a trail of volunteers handing out candy to kids dressed in costume. Admission is $12 per adult, $10 for seniors ages 60 and up, $8 for children ages 4-13 and free for children ages 3 and under, all $3 off regular costs.

White Pine Village boasts 30 historic exhibit buildings from Mason County’s past including the original Mason County Courthouse, built in 1849 in that location along and an authentic turn-of-the-century steam locomotive, tender car, and flat car loaded with logs and headed toward the Village’s sawmill.  The buildings contain thousands of authentic artifacts and archives depicting the rich lumbering and agricultural history of its area.

White Pine Village is located at 1687 S. Lakeshore Drive in Pere Marquette Township.
