Felonious assault charge sought against Lake County woman.

BRANCH TOWNSHIP — A report will be forwarded to the Mason County Prosecutor’s Office seeking charges against a 25-year-old Lake County woman following a felonious assault in the 100 block of South Walhalla Road Wednesday, Oct. 12, shortly after 8 p.m., according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

“Mason County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a reported assault with an injury in Walhalla,” said Sheriff Cole. “The reported suspect had fled the scene and was not located. The victim did reportedly suffer a facial injury.”

  • 12:10 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Fountain Road west of Quarterline Road, Victory Township.
  • 7:18 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Sugar Grove Road east of Darr Road, Sherman Township.
  • 9:18 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Reek Road south of Beyer Road, Sherman Township.
