The following is recent activity of the Ludington Police Department:

Thursday, Sept. 29, 2022:

  • ​6:31 p.m., ​a 17-year-old Ludington girl was petitioned to the Mason County Juvenile Court for assault and battery against a 16-year-old Scottville girl, 400 block of East Ludington Avenue, City of Ludington. It is unknown if the victim sought medical treatment for the bump on her forehead.

Friday, Sept. 30, 2022:

  • 10:55 p.m., ​a 38-year-old Detroit woman was cited for driving while license suspended (DWLS), US 10 and Nelson ​Road, City of Ludington. The passenger in her car — a 43-year-old Detroit man — was arrested on four warrants issued by in Kent County for failure to pay child support. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.

Saturday, Oct. 1, 2022:

  • ​7:57 p.m., ​a 39-year-old Ludington man was cited for DWLS, Nelson Road and Barton​ Street, City of Ludington.

Sunday, Oct. 2, 2022:

  • 8:55 p.m., ​a 20-year-old Ludington man was arrested on an outstanding 79th District Court warrant for failure to appear on charge of harboring a runaway, Lakeshore Drive and Bryant​ Road, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
  • ​10:04 p.m., a 62-year-old Ludington man was arrested on an outstanding warrant issued by Lake County for failure to appear on a third-degree criminal sexual conduct offense, 300 block of North Rowe Street​, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
