Obituary: Marie Cole, 82, of Lake.

Marie Ann Cole, 82, of Lake, Mich., passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at Toni and Trish House (Hospice) after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born July 1, 1940 in Muskegon, the daughter of Charles and Anna (Balaskovits) Argetsinger and attended Free Soil school and Mason County Central in Scottville.

Marie married John Cole on May 1, 1985 and he gave her many years of laughter and great times. In her younger years she was with her beloved horse Trigger, played softball and bowling on teams in Scottville and Ludington. Also spending many hours knitting, crocheting and jigsaw puzzles.

She is survived by her husband, John Cole of Lake; daughter Tina Fulker of Ludington; sons Don (Shanna) Nelson of Scottville, Kenny (Melissa) Nelson of Ludington and Corey Cole of Texas; sister Susan (Douglas) Stockman of Free Soil; brothers Charles (Jennifer) Argetsinger of Ludington, Mark Argetsinger of South Carolina, Bruce Argetsinger of Bear Lake/Scottville; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and lots of nieces and nephews.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Anna Argetsinger and brother Robert (Bob) Argetsinger.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
