The following recent death information has been reported to MCP:

  • Carla Rae Lobenherz, 69, of Ludington, died on Monday, September 12, 2022. Arrangements by Beacon Funeral & Cremation.
  • Christopher Ray Thompson, 33, of Grand Rapids, formerly of Manistee, died on Wednesday, September 14, 2022. Arrangements were entrusted to Oak Grove Funeral Home of Ludington, www.OakGroveLudington.com.

  • Freda Jean Henry, 87, of Scottville, died on Wednesday, September 14, 2022. A funeral will be held on Monday, September 19, 2022 at 1 pm at Oak Grove Funeral Home of Ludington with visitation starting at noon. Arrangements were entrusted to Oak Grove Funeral Home of Ludington.

  • Gwendolyn D. Holcombe, 98, of Free Soil, died on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at her home.  Private family graveside services will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery in Free Soil Township.  Please visit Gwendolyn’s memory page at http://www.wymanfuneralservice.com to share a tribute of Gwendolyn with her family, or to light a candle in her memory.
