LUDINGTON — The following were sentenced on Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2022 in Mason County’s 51st Circuit Court: 

Casano

– Karleigh Rai Casano, 28; count 1: controlled substance – possession of methamphetamine/ecstasy, guilty plea, 18 months probation, credit two days served in jail, concurrent; count 2: controlled substances — possession of cocaine, heroin or another narcotic, dismissed; count 3: controlled substances — maintaining a drug house, guilty plea, 18 months probation, credit two days served in jail, concurrent; separate charges: controlled substances — possession of cocaine, heroin or another narcotic, plead nolo contendere (no contest), 12 months jail, credit for six days served, two years probation. Offense date: Jan. 16, 2022, arrested by Mason County Sheriff’s Office. 

Fitch

– Donald Glenn Fitch, 39; count 1: assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer, guilty plea, 330 days jail, credit five days served, 18 months probation. Offense date, April 18, 2022; arrested by Mason County Sheriff’s Office

– Paulenea Tiffanie Hornacek, 30; count 1: perjury – inciting or procuring, court proceeding, guilty plea, one day jail, credit one day, 12 months probation. Offense date, Aug. 29, 2021, arrested by Mason County Sheriff’s Office. 

Sweet

– Margaret Ann Sweet, 65; count 1: controlled substance – possession of methamphetamine/ecstasy, guilty plea, 166 days jail, credit 166 days served, two years probation; controlled substances — maintaining a drug house, dismissed. Offense date, Feb. 4, 2022, arrested by Ludington Police Department.
