Prayer & Praise church holding thank you event at 10 Spot. 

PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — Prayer & Praise Assembly of God Church is holding its second annual thank you event for area first responders, educators and service volunteers on Wednesday, July 27 at the 10 Spot near the intersection of US 10 and Nelson Road. The event will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. 

“We would like to take the time to honor and thank our hometown heroes who have put forth extra time, effort, and commitment to serve the people of Mason County,” Pastor Henrik Lidman said.  “This includes our local law enforcement, medical, education, service volunteers, firefighters, first responders and all support personnel in these fields.  Your dedication has not gone unnoticed, and we would like to invite you and your family to an evening of free food, fun, and games as a token of our gratitude.”

Identification is needed. Participants can check in to the welcome tent where they will receive a coupon that will buy dinner at any of the food trucks. The event will include music, games, and inflatables. In the event of rain, the event will be held on Wednesday, August 3.
