Assault, probation violation arrests top police activity.

The following is police activity in Mason County Monday, July 18, 2022:

  • 1:20 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), a 33-year-old Ludington man was arrested for probation violation and domestic violence following a 911 call reporting a disturbance at a residence, Bonnie Street, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 8 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 10 west of Tuttle Road, Custer Township.
  • 8:20 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 28-year-old Ludington man was arrested for operating while intoxicated and for having open intoxicants inside his vehicle, ​Dowland and Madison ​streets, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
  • 10:50 p.m., (LPD), a 58-year-old Ludington man was arrested for assault and battery and probation violation, ​100 block of East Foster Street​​, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail. No injuries were reported.
