Woman arrested for breaking into ex’s home.

SUMMIT TOWNSHIP — A 19-year-old Ludington woman was arrested by Mason County sheriff’s deputies for illegal entry following a 911 call reporting a person had broken into the caller’s home Monday, July 11, at 6:30 a.m. in the 5000 block of South Pere Marquette Highway, said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.  “The two had had a relationship in the past,” said Sheriff Cole.

The following is other police activity in Mason County Monday, July 11, 2022:

  • 6:05 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 north of Free Soil Road, Free Soil Township.
  • 10:12 a.m., (MCSO), a 45-year-old Ludington man was arrested on an outstanding Mason County probation violation warrant, US 10 west of Benson Road, Branch Township.
  • 3:04 p.m., (MCSO), ​a 19 year-old Ludington man turned himself in to the Mason County Jail on an outstanding dangerous drug warrant issued by the Ludington Police Department (LPD), City of Ludington.
  • 5:24 p.m., (LPD), a 54-year-old Ludington man was arrested on an outstanding Lake County warrant for animal abuse,  ​Loomis and Delia​ streets, City of Ludingon. He was also driving without a license. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
  • 5:49 p.m., (MCSO), damaged property, 6200 block of East Free Soil Road, Free Soil Township. The complainant reported that her vehicle’s windshield was broken after a person she knows reportedly threw a cell phone and broke it.
  • 7:04 p.m., (MCSO), one-vehicle crash, no injury, Campbell Road south of Sippy Road, Logan Township.
  • 9:20 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Chauvez Road west of Ordway Road, Eden Township.
  • 10:10 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Custer Road north of Hawley Road, Eden Township.
