PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — A 37-year-old Custer man was arrested or second-offense operating while intoxicated by Mason County sheriff’s deputies following a traffic stop Wednesday, July 6, shortly before 6 p.m. at the intersection of US 10 and Jebavy Drive, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

There was a ”be on the lookout” alert for a reckless driver on US 10 that reportedly had an orange traffic cone stuck underneath it, said Sheriff Cole. “When the vehicle was found by Mason County Sheriff’s Office deputies, the traffic cone was still stuck underneath the vehicle.”
