One injured in Walhalla crash.

BRANCH TOWNSHIP — A two vehicle crash in Walhalla Thursday afternoon resulted in one person being transported to the hospital. Emergency personnel were called to the scene, US 10 east of Walhalla, at 3:40 p.m. A female sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken by ambulance to Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital. Emergency personnel on scene included Mason County Sheriff’s Office, Branch Township Fire Department, Custer Fire Department and Life EMS. 

Other police activity for June 9, 2022 included: 

  • 9:06 a.m., Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO): GAS DRIVE OFF OF $30.58, Airport Shell, 4554 W. US 10, Pere Marquette township. 
  • 2:38 p.m., Ludington Police Department: A two vehicle crash occurred at the intersection of Ludington Avenue and Madison Street. A 23-year-old woman, driving a white Ford Focus, turned south on Madison Street from Ludington Avenue and, according to police, failed to yield to a white Ford E-55 driven by a 78-year-old Ludington man. The woman was cited for failing to yield the right-of-way and self-transported to an undisclosed medical facility to have minor injuries treated. Ludington Fire Department and Life EMS also responded.
  • 3:30 p.m., MCSO: Two vehicle crash, no injuries, US 10 west of Pere Marquette Highway, Pere Marquette Township.
