LUDINGTON — The following were recently arraigned on felony charges in Mason County’s 79th District Court: 

Samuels

– Nicholas Lee Samuels; birth year, 1987; larceny in a building; offense date, Oct. 28, 2021; arrested by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned May 18, 2022; probable cause hearing, June 1, 2022 at 1 p.m. 

Miller

– Patrick Michael Miller; birth year, 1964; assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer (two counts); offense date, May 10, 2022; arrested by Ludington Police Department; arraigned on May 13, 2022; defendant referred for competency evaluation. 

Vanwyck

– Brian Douglas Vanwyck; birth year, 1956; embezzlement from a vulnerable adult over $20,000; offense date, July 1, 2021; arrested by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned on May 19, 2022; probable cause hearing, June 1, 2022 at 1 p.m. 

Treesh

– Tara Lynn Treesh; birth year, 1988; controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine (two counts); offense date, March 12, 2022; arrested by Ludington Police Department; arraigned on May 23, 2022; probable cause hearing, June 1, 2022 at 1 p.m. 

Babcock

– Shawn Michael Babcock; controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine (two counts); offense date, May 22, 2022; arrested by Ludington Police Department; arraigned on May 23, 2022; probable cause hearing, June 1, 2022 at 1 p.m.
