The following is recent police activity in Mason County:

Tuesday, May 24 2022:

  • 1:20 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), a 39-year-old Hesperia woman was arrested on a probation violation warrant issued in Mason County, Oceana Drive near Pere Marquette Highway, Summit Township. She was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
  • ​12:38 p.m., ​(Ludington Police Department), a 32-year-old Manistee woman was arrested on an outstanding failure to appear warrant issued by the 79th District Court. The original charge was driving while license suspended. She was lodged in the Mason County Jail after being transferred from the Manistee County Jail.
  • 6:22 p.m., (MCSO), single-vehicle moped crash, minor injuries, no medical treatment, Jagger Road near Rath Road, Hamlin Township.
  • 9:50 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Walhalla Road near Kinney Road, Logan Township.

Wednesday, May 25, 2022:

  • ​6:22 a.m., (LPD), ​a 26-year-old Newaygo woman was arrested on an outstanding Mason County failure to appear warrant, 400 South Harrison Street​, City of Ludington. She was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
