BRANCH TOWNSHIP — A breaking and entering was reported to the Mason County Sheriff’s Office Saturday, May 14, shortly before 9 a.m. in the 9000 block of East Barothy Road. “The complainant reported assorted items stolen from two sheds on the property,” said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

• 9:42 a.m.,  (Michigan State Police), a 38-year-old New Era man was cited for driving while license suspended (DWLS), Quarterline and Countyline and roads, Grant Township.
• 9:50 p.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), car/deer crash, US 31 and Pere Marquette Highway off-ramp, Marquette Township.
• 10:02 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Scottville Road south of Hawley Road, Eden Township.

Saturday, May 14, 2022:

• 2:20 a.m., (Ludington Police Department), ​a 39-year-old Ludington man was arrested for domestic assault, 700 block of East Loomis Street​, City of Ludington. The victim, a 38-year-old Ludington woman sustained some red marks to the side of her face along the jaw line and did not seek medical attention. The man was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
• 7:05 a.m.,  (MCSO), alarm activation, Amber Township.
• 9:59 a.m., (MCSO), alarm activation, Pere Marquette Township.
• ​2:37 p.m., (LPD), ​a 21-year-old Ludington woman was cited for DWLS, Madison and Dowland​​ streets, City of Ludington.
• 7:54 p.m., (MCSO), alarm activation, Free Soil Township.
