MCC forensics places high at state tournament.

TROY – The Mason County Central High School Forensics Team participated in the state tournament held Saturday, April 30 at Troy High School, finishing third place in class C/D and fifth place overall in the class B, C/D competition. 

Finishers included: 

  • Roxy Jeffries, first place, dramatic interpretation, open
  • Nicole Bowen, first place, prose
  • Lily Stone/Sophia Edmondson, third place, duo
  • Blake Tucker, fifth place, sales
  • Olivia Donahue, seventh place, oratory
  • Jacob Molina, seventh place, prose
  • Katelyn Ross, eighth place, broadcasting
  • James McEachern, 10th place, dramatic interpretation, 9/10
  • Adrianna Donahu, 11th place, storytelling
  • Alyssa Raspotnik, 12th place dramatic interpretation, 9/10
  • Clara Baur, 13th place, poetry
  • Jacob Failor, 13th place, oratory
  • Holly Bowen, 16th place, poetry
  • Emma Jancek, 19th place, informative
