Thieves steal steel.

AMBER TOWNSHIP — Assorted steel items were stolen from Wonderland Tire located in the 1900 block of West US 10, said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

The theft was reported Monday, April 4, shortly before 9 a.m. The case remains under investigation, said Cole.

Other police activity in Mason County Monday, April 4, 2022 includes:

  • 8:38 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), car/deer crash, no injury, Scottville Road south of Conrad Road, Custer Township.
  • 11:50 a.m., (Ludington Police Department), ​a 38-year-old Ludington man was arrested on an outstanding failure to appear warrant issued by the 51st Circuit Court regarding a Friend of the Court matter, 400 block of South Harrison Street​, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
  • 2:20 p.m., (MCSO), gas drive-off, $20 in fuel stolen, Express Mart, 5500 block of West US 10, Pere Marquette Township.
