Three arrested following ‘suspicious vehicle’ complaint.

PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — Three suspects were arrested by Mason County sheriff’s deputies Tuesday, March 22, shortly after 9 p.m. in the 100 block of North Nelson Road following a suspicious vehicle complaint in a parking lot, said Mason County Undersheriff Derrek Wilson.

“After a subsequent investigation, a 25-year-old Ludington man was arrested for a valid probation violation warrant out of Mason County; a 43-year-old Ludington woman was arrested for resisting and obstructing police and providing false identification to police; and a 47-year-old Ludington man was arrested for possession of methamphetamine.  All were lodged in the Mason County Jail,” said Undersheriff Wilson. 

The following is other Mason County Sheriff’s Office activity Tuesday, March 22, 2022:

  • 2:37 p.m., single-car crash, no injury, Fisher Road near Jebavy Drive, Hamlin Township.
  • 4:41 p.m., a 44-year-old Ludington man was arrested for a failure to appear warrant issued in Mason County, 300 block of North Delia Street, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
  • 5:03 p.m., a 39-year-old Pentwater man was arrested for a failure to appear warrant issued in Mason County, 3000 block of West Washington Road, Riverton Township. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
  • 8:29 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Brye Road near First Street, Amber Township.
  • 10:35 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, US 10 near Darr Road, Custer Township.
