The following is recent activity of the Mason County Sheriff’s Office: 

Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2022: 

  • 2:31 a.m., car/tree crash, Hawley Road near Federal Forest Road 6348, Logan Township. The driver sustained minor injuries but declined medical treatment.
  • 2:21 p.m., two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 near Pere Marquette Highway, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 6:49 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Schoenherr Road near Fisher Road, Sheridan Township.

Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2022:

  • 4:49 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Reek Road near Dewey Road, Sherman Township.
  • 6:05 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Sugar Grove Road near Campbell Road, Sheridan Township.
  • 8:15 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Custer Road near Hansen Road, Custer Township.
