The following is police activity in Mason County Monday, Feb. 7, 2022:

  • 6:40 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), vehicle slide-off, no damage, Gordon Road and US 10, Amber Township. The driver lost control on icy road conditions, said Chief Deputy Oscar Davila. “To avoid pulling into the intersection, the driver ran off road into the snow bank.”
  • 7:30 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, Lasalle and Hansen roads, Amber Township.
  • 8:52 a.m., (MCSO), civil complaint — property dispute and peacekeeping assist, Walhalla Road, Branch Township.
  • 3:50 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), ​a 19-year-old Ludington woman was arrested on an outstanding LPD warrant for malicious destruction of property, 700 block of North Rowe Street​, City of Ludington. She was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
  • 8:22 p.m., (MCSO), civil unwanted subject, Countyline Road, Grant Township. The caller asked a subject to leave who refused. Prior to the deputies’ arrival, the subject left, and nothing further was needed, said Chief Deputy Davila.
