LUDINGTON — A Ludington man was sentenced earlier this week in 51st Circuit Court to six to 30 years in prison for delivery/manufacturing a controlled substance (methamphetamine), maintaining a drug house, and habitual offender second offense. Dustin James Horn, 27, of 405 E. Fifth St., Ludington, was arrested March 10, 2021 by the State’s, Sheriff’s, Chief’s Enforcement Narcotics Team (SSCENT).

Also sentenced this week, in an unrelated case, was April Lynn Somsel, 47, of 756 N. Meyers Road, Amber Township. Somsel was sentenced to 17 days in jail, with credit for 17 days served, for felony charges of third offense domestic violence and second offense habitual offender. As part of a plea agreement, the initial charge of fourth offense habitual offender was reduced to second offense. She was also ordered to pay $658 in fines and fees.
