51st Circuit Court sentencings, posted Jan. 12, 2022.

LUDINGTON — The following were sentenced recently in 51st Circuit Court:

Murphy

Terrence Antonio-Robert Murphy, 41, of 654 Westley, Muskegon, pleaded “no contest” Nov. 16, 2021 to a misdemeanor of attempted fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct and was sentenced Jan. 4, 2022 to serve 30 days up front of a one-year discretionary jail term with credit for two days served; five years probation; no contact with the victim or the victim’s family; and $658 in fines and costs. One felony count of third-degree CSC — victim under age 13 — was dismissed.

Rose

Tina Ann Rose, 41, of 508 ½ Danaher St., Ludington, pleaded “no contest” Nov. 16, 2021 to methamphetamine possession and second-offense habitual offender and was sentenced Jan. 4, 2022 to one year in jail with credit for 226 days served; two years probation; and $458 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).

Michaels

Nicholas Lee-Scott Michels, 27, of 25 S. Walhalla Rd., Branch Township, was found guilty Nov. 16, 2021 of weapons — concealed pistol on person and driving while license suspended (DWLS) and was sentenced Jan. 4, 2022 to three days  in jail with credit for three days served; one year probation; and $708 in fines and costs. Charges of carrying a concealed weapon and operating without insurance were dismissed. DWLS conviction is reportable to SOS.

Lund

Bryan Patrick Lund, 36, of 220 S. Madison St., Ludington, was found guilty Nov. 16, 2021 of narcotic/cocaine possession less than 25 grams, analogues possession and third-offense habitual offender and was sentenced Jan. 4, 2022 to two days in jail with credit for two days served; three years probation; and $726 in fines and costs. In a separate case, Lund was found guilty Nov. 16, 2021 of methamphetamine/ecstasy use and third-offense habitual offender and was sentenced Jan. 4, 2022 to four days in jail with credit for four days served and $125 in fines and costs. One count of methamphetamine/ecstasy possession was dismissed. Convictions reportable to SOS. 

Davis

Michael Allan Davis, 62, of Walhalla (street address not listed), pleaded guilty Nov. 4, 2021 to weapon — miscellaneous, and received an 11-month delayed sentence Jan. 4, 2022 until Nov. 8, 2022.
