51st Circuit Court sentencings, posted Dec. 8, 2021.

LUDINGTON — The following were sentenced recently in 51st Circuit Court:

Collins

– Mark Allen Collins, 55, of 1996 W. Dewey Rd., Scottville, pleaded “no contest” Dec. 1 to attempted fourth-degree fleeing a police officer and operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to one year in jail with credit for one year served and $780 in fines and costs. Charges of fourth-degree fleeing a police officer and open intoxicants were dismissed. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).

Mallison

– Allen Michael Mallison, 33, of 304 N. Rowe St., Ludington, was found guilty Oct. 8 of methamphetamine possession and was sentenced Nov. 23 to 17 days in jail with credit for 17 days served; two years probation; and $658 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

Kernozek

– Matthew Edward Kernozek, 32, of 7908 Basswood Ave., Newaygo, was found guilty Nov. 16 of false pretenses less than $200 and was sentenced to $525 in fines and costs. Charges of forgery and uttering and publishing were dismissed.
