Corlett remains, Misner drops out of Ludington superintendent search.

LUDINGTON — Jason Misner, one of the two finalists for consideration as superintendent of Ludington Area School District has withdrawn his application, according to Dave Killips, search consultant with the Michigan Leadership Institute. Misner

The Ludington Area School District Board of Education will hold a special meeting on Monday, Nov. 8 at 5 p.m. to interview the two finalists for superintendent. The meeting will be held at the Administration Office boardroom, 809 E. Tinkham Ave. Misner is the current superintendent of Parchment School District. He dropped out due to personal reasons, Killips said.

The board of education was scheduled to meet in a special meeting and interview Misner at 5 p.m. today, Monday, Nov. 8, and then Dr. Kyle Corlett at 6:30 p.m. Corlett’s interview is now scheduled for 5 p.m. Corlette is the superintendent of Delton-Kellogg Schools.

A discussion of the board of education will take place following the interviews and then the board is expected to make a decision whether it will chose Corlett or seek other candidates.

The meeting is open to the public.
