1 injured in Quarterline Road crash.

GRANT TOWNSHIP — A 66-year-old driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries in a single-vehicle crash Monday, Sept. 27, shortly before 1:30 p.m. p.m. on Quarterline Road at Forest Trail Road, according to Mason County Undersheriff Derrek Wilson.

“The vehicle was traveling south on Quarterline Road when a second vehicle failed to yield and pulled out in front of the southbound driver,” said Undersheriff Wilson. “The southbound driver swerved to avoid collision and ran off the roadway, overturning in the ditch. The 66-year-old driver was transported by Life EMS to Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.”

Responding to the scene were Michigan State Police, Mason County Sheriff’s Office, Grant Township Fire Department and Life EMS.
