New Era man injured when motorcycle hits deer.

PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — A 59-year-old New Era man was injured after the motorcycle he was operating struck a deer and crashed Thursday, Sept. 9, at 12:40 p.m. on Lakeshore Drive near Chauvez Road, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

He was transported by Life EMS to Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital.
