Last Big Sable Point Lighthouse bus day is Saturday.

HAMLIN TOWNSHIP — Sable Points Lighthouse Keepers Association is hosting bus service to Big Sable Point Lighthouse on Saturday, September 11 from noon to 5 p.m. 

Cost is $5 for adults and $2 for children under the age of 12 for round trip transportation, which leaves from the building next to the Ludington State Park office. Last round trips out to Big Sable will be sold at 4 p.m. 

Tower climbs at all SPLKA lighthouses are free with identification, on Saturday September 11, to all first responders, active and retired military. 

Musican Joe Irelan will perform at the lighthouse from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Irelan performs a blend of soft rock, blues folk and ballads. 

This is the last bus event to Big Sable for the 2021 season.
